Venus UI — the open-source component kit for O2System, a PWA-oriented PHP framework I co-founded.
The brief
O2System needed a UI layer. Without one, every developer building on the framework was assembling their own front end from scratch — and the framework looked unfinished.
What I built
I co-founded the framework and owned the UI/UX side, designing and building Venus: a component kit on jQuery and Bootstrap covering the interface elements application developers reach for repeatedly.
The priority was adoption, which meant a predictable API and real documentation for every component — a kit nobody can figure out doesn't get used.
Outcome
Published open source with live documentation, shipping as the interface layer of what was billed as the first PWA-oriented PHP framework.
