People For Peat

/ Overview
Campaign site for a peatland conservation initiative — a long-form storytelling build in React that has to persuade, then convert.
The brief
An environmental campaign whose job is persuasion: explain why peatland matters to people who have never thought about it, then give them something concrete to do about it. A site like this fails quietly — people leave halfway down.
What I built
The front end in React and TypeScript, structured as reusable story sections rather than one long hardcoded page: narrative blocks, data visuals, and the calls to action that follow them, all fed from the content API so the campaign team could re-sequence the story without a rebuild.
Built mobile-first throughout, since campaign traffic arrives overwhelmingly from social on a phone.
Outcome
Live at peopleforpeat.org, carrying the campaign's public story and its sign-up path.
